Our Story
IAAMHP was established to address the growing need for a unified approach to mental health practice in Australia. We aim to create an inclusive environment that advocates for equitable opportunities for all mental health professionals, ensuring transparency in their qualifications and fostering consistent service standards.
We support the regulation of mental health practitioners under a statutory body like AHPRA to ensure public safety and the quality of care provided to clients.

IAAMHP collaborates with MHPN to offer free CPD training on Focused Psychological Strategies (FPS). This training helps mental health professionals enhance their skills while earning up to 25 CPD hours annually through monthly Zoom sessions.
The sessions are held on the second Saturday of each month, from February to November, from 2 PM to 4:30 PM. Participants receive a Statement of Participation, accepted for CPD requirements by IAAMHP.

Individual supervision starts at $150 per hour.
